Terms of Service

Article 1 (Applicability)

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Focus Timeline (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2 (Service Provision)

  1. The Service is a free web application that provides a Pomodoro timer and focus tracking functionality.
  2. All Service data is stored in your browser's LocalStorage. No data is transmitted to any server.
  3. We may modify, suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice. We shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result.

Article 3 (User Environment)

  1. You are responsible for providing and maintaining the devices and software necessary to use the Service at your own expense.
  2. The Service requires a browser environment with JavaScript and LocalStorage enabled.
  3. In private browsing mode, saved data may be deleted when you close the tab.

Article 4 (Prohibited Activities)

When using the Service, you must not engage in any of the following activities:

  • Any activity that violates applicable laws or public order and morals
  • Unauthorized access to the Service's systems
  • Any activity that interferes with the operation of the Service
  • Decompiling or reverse engineering the Service
  • Any other activity deemed inappropriate by us

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

  1. We make no express or implied warranties regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, or non-infringement.
  2. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  3. We shall not be liable for any loss of data caused by clearing browser cache, device resets, or LocalStorage limitations.
  4. We shall not be liable for damages caused by failures or changes in third-party services used by the Service (such as Google AdSense or Cloudflare Pages).

Article 6 (Intellectual Property)

  1. All intellectual property rights in the Service's design, code, and content belong to us or our licensors.
  2. Intellectual property rights in data you enter into the Service (such as project names and work type names) belong to you. This data is stored only in your browser and is never transmitted to external servers.

Article 7 (Advertisements)

The Service may display advertisements from Google AdSense. The content of these advertisements is provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their content. For information about advertising cookies, please refer to the cookie consent banner and our Privacy Policy.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

We may update these Terms when we deem it necessary. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  2. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the location of the operator.
